The idea for this bag started when my friend was shopping for her twin boys and could not find a scripture bag that fit their personalities. It seemed like every bag geared towards boys was either a solid color or sports themed. Something you should know about me is that I LOVE solving problems by sewing… so I started experimenting.

I practiced a few bags and ended up with the perfect dimensions to fit a set of scriptures, notebook, and pens. This bag is designed to fit the quad scriptures for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but also is a great bag for bullet journaling, trick-or-treating, Easter egg hunts, and anything else you can think up! The bag is big enough to easily get things in and out, but small enough not to flop around.

Now you can make one too! The very detailed pattern includes over 50 photos to help even the most novice crafter make something you can be proud of! If you have a sewing machine and a desire to use it, you can make this bag.

This pattern includes a cutting chart if you want to cut out the pieces with a rotary cutter and mat AND a PDF pattern that can be assembled so you have paper pattern pieces to trace and cut around.
The bag features pencil cases, quilted panels, a magnetic snap, and sturdy construction so that it can stand up on it’s own.

The pattern can be purchased in my shop HERE!
